Sheet Music From Around the Bay

Stanroy Music has become home to the combined sheet music collections of Byron Hoyt (SF) and Tupper & Reed Music (Berkeley).  After decades of service, these two sheet music giants in San Francisco and the East Bay finally succumbed to the economic pressures facing independent music stores everywhere. 

Here in Santa Rosa, Stanroy Music has brought these renowned collections together.  There are hundreds of full and study scores, works for strings, winds and numerous large ensembles.  In the stacks you’ll find copious organ, classical guitar and classical vocal literature.  The piano graded repertoire features publishers from around the world, often difficult to obtain in our area.  Browsing the department is truly a treat for any classical music collector, and when you find that rare book, you’ll find the significant discounts on books from those collections make it hard to resist taking home with you.
